In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five news and magazine applications in Central America showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, based on data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) by X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $57.6K in late November. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching around 162.9K in early October, while weekly active users remained strong, starting at 22.2M and experiencing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

SkyAlert: Alerta Sísmica experienced a decline in weekly revenue, decreasing from $27.7K in early October to around $3.9K by the end of December. Downloads were relatively low, starting at 1.5K and dropping mid-quarter before slightly recovering to 1.3K.

Alerta Sísmica México - SASSLA showed a downward trend in weekly revenue from $17.2K in early October to $1.8K by the end of December. Weekly downloads started strong at 19.5K but settled to about 1.4K by the quarter's end.

EL PAÍS demonstrated a relatively stable pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at $3.5K in October and closing the quarter at approximately $2.2K. Downloads remained modest, with a slight increase towards the end of December.

Lastly, EL NORTE displayed consistent weekly revenue, reaching a high of $9.6K in early December. Weekly downloads were modest, with the highest number at 406 in the last week of December.
